Fawning is a gothy dream pop duo from the Bay Area featuring Cheyenne Avant ( Night School ). Cheyenne and Devin Nunes met many years ago while playing shows together with their other projects. Their live band is completed by Eddie Salgado (bass), Joey Bautista (guitar), and Wesley Cash (drums).
Their music is equal parts serene and beautiful and at times, borderline creepy. Recalling the haze-laden sounds of Julee Cruise, Slowdive, and The Cure, Oakland two-piece, Fawning, merge atmospheric dream pop drawls with dance-driven, post-punk momentum.
